The Story So Far
Where You Stand


The Party formed together and took the job to head out to find the Torch Boyz who desecrated the church of Iion. They found the broken tower the bandits used as a main base and destroyed it. Killing all but one named Avon who they questioned then set free. They descovered the second group of bandits who were trying to break into a tomb. The party retreated to plan then came back and killed the rest with the aid of Avon. Once entering the tomb they realized it belonged to a branch group from the Order Of The Gauntlet. Solving the puzzle The Party entered down further into the tomb where they freed Baern and found a Holy Sword. Baern is now indebted to Bigby and now follows him.

Soon after The Party left again, this time on a mission for an old friend of Vorns named Iildan. This time they set a trap for their targets. They fought a hard battle but came out on top. They found out that there is a shady group with a unknown name who have been working with corrupt gaurds from the city of Norhaven. The Party found out one of the members is named Steandire Blackhand. They delivered the items they were sent for and made some gold. Iildan thanked them by agreeing to find out more information about a group called Chronos for Bigby. He also showed them to the underground network where the Zhentarim reside.

After receiving a disturbing letter from Ramen asking for help The Party head off to Matlock to investigate and rest.


The Old Ones
Session 1


The party left Whitewater towards Matlock to see what was going on with Ramen. Understanding he was in trouble the party made haste, meanwhile all alone Schukle journeyed back towards Whitewater where he ventures back to retrieve his sword and meet with the rest of the party unknowing they had left. As he traveled back he came across a group of shady men trying to load cages into a cart. He spoke with them for a brief moment and saw a strange imp like creature in the cage. The creature spoke to him and he decided to help it out. After battling the men he agreed to a contract with the imp and in return for freeing the imp Schukle retrieved 5 magical cigars. He headed back to town where he got his sword back. he spent the night there waiting for his allies to return. In the morning he decided that they probably went back to The Snakehead Keep, so he headed off. While this was happening the Party were ambushed upon arriving at the keep. When they entered the main tent they saw Big Sam (Bodyguard) and Emile (Maid) pined to the main support beam. As the party were stunned be the site the enemy attacked from the shadow and even all seeing Vorn was surprised. After a fierce battle with Vorn going down and Bigby letting Albino assist him they just came on top. But for Bigby the battle wasn’t over and he lost control as for a brief moment Albino took over and attacked his friends. Vorn and Baern swiftly deal with the out of control Bigby. After Bigby wakes up and they spot an enemy running away . Vorn executes a perfect shot to kneecap him. the party interrogate him and find out the bosses name is Bullox. They work for a secret group known as The Mercury.
They find a coded letter on the body of Bullox and they spend time decoding it. Bigby heads for a early night as Vorn and Baern head out to the tavern. The next day the party head out , Vorn heads to the tavern to gather info and spread rumours as Bigby and Baern head to the majors keep to ask for assistance. Bigby and Baern discover that there are new guards brandishing emblems of black roses who are guarding the keep. They enter the keep without weapons and soon realize things are not right. They meet with a Lord Quaves who is seemingly in charge and sentences them to be hanged the next morning for the murder of the Major and his family without giving them a chance to defend themselves. Realizing they were set up they attempt to escape but it turns out to be futile. They are taken to the dungeon where they are locked up, awaiting execution.

The Old Ones No.2
Session 2


We picked up with Bigby and Baern gagged and bound in separate cells under the Majors keep. While Bigby and Baern were being sent to the dungeon Vorn was at a Inn speaking to the bar man. From the chat Vorn discovered the story and rumors surrounding the mysterious death of the Major and his family. Vorn then speaks with a fellow Black Network member who gives more information on the situation at hand. Vorn heads to a store and buys so supplies and decides to head off to so what has happened to Ramen. As he comes up to Ramens hut he discovers to people are within. After fighting a deadly battle and just surviving Vorn discovers Ramens place is a mess and Ramen is nowhere to be found. While that was happening back in the cells Baern and Bigby work together to remove a blade from the boot of Baern. Bigby then uses the blade to remove the gag from his mouth and then casts a spell to control the guard. It is a success and the guard obeys Bigbys instructions. Using the guard and their skills the party escape the keep and meet up with Vorn near Ramens hut. They decide to stay the night in Ramens place. They question the guard they have captive and find out about The Voiceless Talkers and The Old Ones. Once night hits the Party sleeps and a few go on watch. On the last watch Bigby spots a large force seemingly surrounding the place too late. Surrounding the unsuspecting party the forces ready themselves.
